• Consultation with International Physicians: Our primary care teams are led by physicians with international training and experience. These teams include trained nurses and support staff who work together to provide personalized, continuing, and comprehensive care. 
  
  
• Network of Certified Specialists, Including: Anesthesia, Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Hematology, Infectious Disease, Neonatology, Neurology, OB-Gyn and Birthing Services, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, Physiotherapy, Pulmonary Medicine, Reparative Plastic Surgery, Urology, Vascular Surgery, and more to come.

• Ancillary Services, Including: Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nutrition, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
  
  
• Psychology and Psychiatry Services: Our behavioral health team offers evaluation, treatment, and counseling for a variety of personal, family related, and child/adolescent problems. Emphasis is on practical and effective techniques with a special focus on stress management and mind-body integration. There is close coordination with your medical provider for related medical treatments and with your child's school for coordinated strategies.
  
  
• Comprehensive Dental Care: Provided at our Tomorrow Square ParkwayHealth International Medical and Surgical Center, Hong Qiao, Pudong, and Shanghai Centre centers. These include General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, and Prosthodontic Dentistry.
  
  
• Annual Health Screening Programs: For individual and corporate clients. We offer Comprehensive Health Evaluation at all our facilities. We also offer a Personal Best and Domestic Helper Health Screening conducted by experienced Chinese-speaking physicians at the Health Screening Center on the 3rd floor at the Shanghai Centre. We can customize health screening packages to meet your needs, and group rates are available.
  
  
• Immunization Program: Internationally certified vaccines are made available for our patients; these include an influenza program offered in the Autumn each year, rabies vaccine, routine childhood vaccinations, hepatitis vaccinations, and a variety of other vaccines of interest to the international traveler.
  
  
• Immigration Health Screening: For Chinese Nationals seeking visas for other countries.  We have been designated by the Canadian, New Zealand, Australian, Spanish, and Argentinean Embassies as authorized providers of immigration healthcare checks.
  
  
• On-Site Urgent Care: At all centers, with 24 hour house physicians available at the Specialty and Inpatient Center. Treatments include sutures, casts, oxygen support, heart monitoring, and minor surgery, including 24 hour observation services.
  
  
• On-Site Patient Pharmacy: Each ParkwayHealth facility has a pharmacy that is stocked with both international and Chinese pharmaceuticals and biological agents. This includes both medications and immunizations with quality oversight for both the ordering and delivery process by our expatriate pharmacy manager. Mail order service is also provided for long term needs or for agents not available locally.
  
  
• On-Site Diagnostic Services, Including:
• X-ray services with new digital imaging technologies. An American radiology service will shortly be added for standardized interpretation and clinical interaction
• Ultrasound services for obstetric monitoring, as well as for evaluations of the liver, gall bladder, pancreas, kidney, breast, and thyroid
• Bone Densitometry to diagnose osteoporosis
• Breath testing for Helicobacteria Pyloris, a bacteria causing gastric disorders
• Laboratory services at each ParkwayHealth facility with special on-site testing and certified central laboratory functions at our Specialty and Inpatient Center with new equipment and a special courier system. There is a strong emphasis on quality control and use of international standards.
• Electrocardiogram (EKG) tracings and interpretation, including stress (treadmill) testing and echocardiography
• Measurements of pulmonary function including spirometry and oximetry
• Audiometry to measure hearing
• Video-endoscopic imaging of the digestive tract, including colonoscopy and gastroscopy
• Specialized imaging services are available at our Specialty and Inpatient Center through a cooperative agreement with our host, Luwan Hospital
• Laboratory services to measure a wide variety of substances in blood, urine, sputum, and stool, including testing for anemia, abnormal cholesterol, hepatitis, and a wide variety of infections
  
  
• Women's Healthcare: A comprehensive cervical cancer screening program includes the latest form of pap testing, the Thin Prep technology, and testing for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Colposcopy and LEEP sampling are performed when needed. There is a breast cancer screening program and a comprehensive pre-natal care program that includes education and a regular program of visits and testing. In addition, there is a special program for psychological support for expatriate women who have unique personal and social needs.
  
  
• Special Diagnostic Services: Coordinated with selected local facilities that meet our standards for high quality and consistently good service. These include RuiJin Medical University and its Luwan District hospital. Both are part of the No. 2 Medical University, which is the leading referral center for specialty care in Shanghai. These referred services include special laboratory studies, CT scans, MRI scans, special cardiology evaluations, ophthalmology care, and other subspecialty services not offered directly at ParkwayHealth.
  
  
• Emergency Medical Evacuation Coordination: Coordinated with the patient's evacuation company including AEA/SOS, Global Doctors, and AXA.
  
  
• Health Education Classes: Offered on a variety of topics throughout the year, including pre-natal and new parent classes, English and Chinese Basic First Aid and CPR, First Aid and CPR for Ayis, Behavioral Health Program, Stress Management, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
