At ParkwayHealth we not only serve the international community but are a part of it, since the majority of our doctors are either from or trained overseas. Naturally we share the same concerns about day to day life in China and we do the most to utilize our vast resources to help address these issues for the good of the community.
As a healthcare provider we see it as our obligation to educate the community on health related issues. ParkwayHealth regularly organizes and offers health talks, seminars and classes for various schools, companies and organizations. Our First Aid booths are a common sight at community events and our flyers and information leaflets help keep the community up-to-date on the latest health news. Health & Safety, Our Primary Concern
ParkwayHealth organizes a wide range of community activities to ensure that everyone is able to access potentially lifesaving information and healthcare.
First Aid Classes – Basic first aid information on how to respond to an emergency organized for individuals, schools and company employees. The class is taught by experienced doctors and focuses on the common situations one may face anywhere, such as heart attacks, seizures, or wounds. We are able to run the class at your choice of venue. This might be your own premises or at another location that is convenient for you.

First Aid Booths – ParkwayHealth has often been called upon to provide reliable first aid assistance and support at sporting, community and corporate events. To request First Aid service, click here
We have provided support for
- Shanghai visits by former U.S. President Clinton, current U.S. President Bush and Vice President Cheney.
- Shanghai Tennis Masters
- International school events for Shanghai American School, British International School Shanghai, 2007 Forest Park Race and 8K Jinqiao Race.
Health Talks & Seminars – Our staff are always happy to come to schools, companies, residential areas and organization gatherings to provide information on whatever health issues are of concern to you. Topics can range from anything such as “Starting a Family in China” to “How to Reduce Work Related Stress” or “Emergency Pediatric Care”. Newsletter & Articles – Our free newsletter, flyers and articles found all across Shanghai and in several publications provide up-to-date information and advice on relevant health issues in various languages.
Immunization & Flu Shots – All required, recommended and optional vaccinations are available from ParkwayHealth providing you with full protection, regardless of where you are from or where you are going.
Healthcare & Help for All
Shanghai Sunrise Calendar Competition – Each year ParkwayHealth, in conjunction with several international schools, runs a competition where students submit artwork to be placed into a calendar. This calendar is sold to the general public and the proceeds of this go to the Shanghai Sunrise charity providing education and assistance to local orphans.
Free Immunization – With access to supplies and resources ParkwayHealth’s dedicated medical staff regularly visit orphanages to provide free essential vaccinations to underprivileged children.
