Notes and Explanations |
1.10% Discount on Over-the-Counter Medication
Members will receive a 10% discount on over-the-counter medication available in ParkwayHealth Medical
Centers. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts and/or special offers.
2. 10% Discount on Non-Preventive Dentistry
Members will receive a 10% discount on ParkwayHealth non-preventive
dentistry (excluding orthodontic treatment, cosmetic dentistry, implant treatment and after hour emergencies) during regular dental center operating hours. Dental discounts do not apply to preventive dental services including dental exam, cleaning, x-ray, fluoride, and sealant. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts and/or special offers.
3. Free Initial Orthodontic Consultation
Members will receive a free initial orthodontic consultation during regular dental center operating
hours. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts and/or special offers.

4. 24-Hour Medical Hotline
Free medical hotline is available to ParkwayHealth members 24/7. The nurse on duty will make note of your medical concern and page the on-call physician. The physician will try his / her best to call you back within 15 minutes, discuss your situation and propose an appropriate solution.

5. Basic Medical Consultation
Basic medical consultation includes family medicine, general pediatrics, and internal medicine during regular medical center operating hours; does not include specialist consultations and ancillary services.

6. Free Blood Pressure Checks
Members can have their blood pressure checked at any of our Medical Centers during regular
operating hours.
|
7. Free Hemoccult Test
Members will be offered a free stool hemoccult test once a year. This test is done to check for hidden blood in the stool, which helps identify early signs of colon cancer. The member may collect one take-home hemoccult test kit at Medical Centers for sample collection according to instructions to be provided with the test kit.
|
8. ParkwayHealth Education Classes
Education classes include but are not limited to: Basic First Aid and CPR class, First Aid and CPR
class for Ayis, Stress Management, and physician talks on various health issues.
9. Free Second Opinion Medical Consultation
Members who received previous medical care and/or diagnosis from a medical institution and/or
hospital such as foreign ward and joint venture facilities will be offered a free second opinion
consultation on the same health concern/issue during regular medical center operating hours.
Presentation of previous medical records is required.
