Our fulltime, US trained OB/Gyn Specialists (both male and female physicians), ensure the highest quality of care, closely following the US-standards for prenatal and birthing care. Your prenatal visits and the delivery of your child will be provided completely and directly by our physicians. Our Obstetric Delivery Room and obstetric staff are on standby 24-hours per day, and we have state-of-the-art facilities to perform elective or emergency C-Sections, or manage obstetric complications should the need arise. We are affiliated with the renowned Ruijin Medical Center to care for high-risk and tertiary needs.
It is our goal to provide you an enjoyable and safe birthing experience in ParkwayHealth. Your husband or partner is welcome to stay with you throughout the labor and delivery process. If the cesarean birth is necessary, your physician will make arrangements for your husband to be nearby in the operating suite.
A US-trained Pediatric Specialist will ensure daily pediatric follow-up during your stay in our Birthing Center.
Fortunately, most births happen without any complications, but should one arise, our staff are experienced at providing immediate care and we have specialists (including neonatologists, pediatricians, and obstetricians) on call 24/7. If neonatal intensive care is required, we will make special arrangements for you, ensuring the best possible care at the region's leading pediatric hospital.
